Open Day at Tarureka Estate

2024-10-09 14:00
Tarureka Estate recently hosted an open day, offering couples the chance to explore the venue and connect with some of the best local vendors. We were thrilled to be a part of such a special event. The atmosphere was incredibly cozy, and the day was filled with great food, drinks, live music, and much more.

Alongside other talented wedding vendors, we had the opportunity to speak with potential customers and share our passion for what we do. The live music, played by Carl Webley, set the perfect tone as people mingled, enjoying lively conversations while sampling delicious bites from Brac & Bow and wine from Matahiwi Wines.

We were also offering samples of our best-selling cake flavors, so couples could either choose their favorites if they had already booked their wedding cake with us or fall in love with our creations if they hadn't yet decided. The honey cake was definitely the standout of the tasting. We heard many compliments about how soft and subtle it was — and we couldn’t agree more!

A Q&A session was held in the beautiful garden area, where brides and grooms-to-be could ask vendors for professional advice and tips. Photographers: Patina Photo, Yvonne Liew, August and Vine, florists: Bloomwood, Purple Dahlia, Stem, make up artists: You and I, The Make Up Artist and Co, wedding decor and planning: Something Special Events, Dresses: Paper Swan Bride, table linen: TBLE.

We were so fortunate with the weather that day — it couldn’t have been better! It was a real pleasure to finally meet some of the vendors in person and catch up with those we’ve worked with before.

A huge thank you to Beth and Reid for organizing such a beautiful event in the heart of Wairarapa!
